about

Originally recorded over one day in September 1989 but never finished, or released at all; Sludgelord was a side project heavily inspired by the sounds of GORE (Holland), SAINT VITUS and some parts of SAW THROAT.

The album was originally 8 tracks, but the first session was aborted after we realised that all the songs had been played far too fast, so a second day was booked and we re-recorded 6 of the tracks again the following weekend.

Due to running out of time (and money; the £50 budget was extravagent back then) the remainder of the vocals were never recorded, and the release was shelved after a generally negative reaction from some "friends" who were keen to dismiss our efforts.

Bootlegged numerous times on vinyl and CD by money grabbing cunts, here is about the best quality tape we could find with the correct song titles and running order.
